The fundamental character in Zora Neale Hurston’s â€Å"Sweat† is a person of color who lives in the South that grasp on to her faith in God to assist her with overcoming the experiencing that she perseveres through her injurious and two-timing spouse, Sykes. â€Å"Sweat† is loaded with strict imagery that shows that Hurston was utilizing the subject of good versus abhorrent in the short story.
